We ask hunters take only old mature deer, 4 years of age or older. We only take deer by bow, so we are able to regulate the deer to full maturity and not push them off the properties we hunt. The Hat Creek Outpost is a working cattle ranch located between Hot Springs and Ardmore, South Dakota. The property has over 15 miles of creek bottom habitat.
