Coues Whitetail actually pronounced "cows", but by most veteran Coues deer hunters it's pronounced "cooz". The Coues deer is sometimes referred to as the "Grey Ghost" because of their grey coloring, and has somewhat of a cult following because of the extreme challenge they present to the hunter. Every year new and veteran hunters come to Arizona to test their hunting skills against the Coues Whitetail.

Our Privale-Land mule deer hunts in Western Colorado, have seen a 90 to 100% success rate during the past two years. We only take a limited number of deer hunts on this ranch. All tags are draw, and we also have land owner tags. The average Bucks we take are between 150 and 180 sci score we have a 90 to 100% success rate. last year we took 10 hunters and harvested 9 Bucks the one hunter that did not get one was bow hunting. We do the hunts on private land we hunt a combination of stands and on foot. Hunts are very limited.

Our Mule Deer Hunts are Mountain Mule Deer hunts on our Ranches in Rand, CO. These hunts take place in November during the third and fourth rifle seasons (see the Elk Page for details on dates). These hunts can be booked alone or in combination with our rifle elk hunts. These units are 17, 171, 16, 6. We are hunting migrating bucks in the rut, so we never know what is going to show up, but if the snow and weather is right, be prepared to see mature bucks in the 180+ class. Our goal is to harvest mature bucks with a minimum score of 180 or minimum age of 6.5.

Kansas offers first class white tail deer. Black powder, bow, or rifle hunts. Most of our hunting will be from stands, located in all the right spots that have a history of producing large bucks at the right time. Our mule deer hunts take place in the Carson National Forest and BLM and state lands in Rio Arriba County in the northwest quadrant of the state. We hunt mostly public lands in this area. It's not uncommon to see over 8-10 quality bucks a day. We take a very limited number of mule deer hunters per year and our success rate stays very high, harvesting 165" to 185" class mule deer. Whitetail deer are generalists and can adapt to a wide range of habitats because of this they thrive in Texas. Cinco Canyon Ranch’s whitetail deer program is in the beginning stages currently, and therefore has a limited trophy population. These deer have a reddish-brown coat in the spring and summer that turns grey- brown through fall and winter. The deer is recognizable because of its white underside of there tail. Males weigh typically from 120-220 pounds while females weigh anywhere from 90-130 pounds. Our land allows this species to thrive through our open and grassy terrain. They make for an exciting and fast paced spot, stalk, and safari style hunt.

The trophy whitetail deer harvested at Greystone Castle have an average scoring between 140 and 180 Boone and Crocket gross inches, with some deer expected to be over 200 this season. All whitetail hunts are conducted from custom blinds or on spot and stalk. They are fully guided with buck rattling and grunting available during the whitetail deer rut season.

Cedar Valley Preserve is a bow-only hunt club. If you're interested in hunting low-pressure free roam trophy deer... Cedar Valley is the place for you! You'll find no trophy fee here, just a season fee per hunter. Our 500-acre preserve accommodates up to 8 bow hunters per season. All tree stands are supplied and set up by Cedar Valley. All hunters are driven to and from their tree stand with an electric cart. Cedar Valley will recover and field dress any downed deer.

Mule & Whitetail Deer Hunts. Beaver Trap Outfitters is located along the eastern slope of the Big Horn Mountains in Dayton, Wyoming. All hunting is done on surrounding private ranches, National Forest and BLM lands. We do not take large numbers of hunters each year which ensures a quality hunt for you. No more than 4-6 hunters in camp per week. Two hunters per guide but one on one hunts are available for an additional fee.
