Our Florida whitetail deer hunts are conducted on over 7,000 acres of private land. All land is quality managed and has been since the early 1930's. Clients are encourage to harvest mature whitetails however, we do follow the state of Florida rules and regulations minimum requirement of 3 points on one side for antlered deer. At Black Tine Outfitters we don't have second jobs, we maintain feeders, food plots, and mineral sites on a yearly basis. We believe this provides a valuable food source and helps in keeping a stable and healthy herd. Bontrager Whitetails takes pride to offer a limited number of deer hunting enthusiasts a southern experience to harvest large framed trophy whitetails on the family owned deer preserve. Bontrager Whitetails serves as guides at their all-inclusive deer farm to harvest a large frame trophy whitetail while developing lasting friendships. The all-inclusive family run business is located an hour west of Tallahassee and an hour north of Panama City.

Close to Jacksonville, we have access to some of the best bird hunting in Northeast Florida, with 4,400 of acres of prime Quail and Turkey cover. North Florida Member-Only Quail and Deer Hunting Club - Deer hunting is available for both members and non-members. Most of our bucks classify in the 200+ range. The deer herd is maintained in a 2,000-acre location surrounded by a high fence. We have been building our herd of white-tail deer since 1996. This is as close to open-range hunting as you can get. Deer hunts are generally three days. Guests stay at the lake lodge for deer hunting. Hunters usually spend two hours of the early morning in the deer stand, come down for breakfast and then go back for more. There is also hunting available in the afternoon. **While deer-hunting season runs from Sept. 1 to March 15, the best time of year for deer hunting is from Sept. 1 to Nov. 15.

White-tailed deer are one of a few species of wildlife whose over-abundance can seriously degrade its own habitat as well as the habitat of other wildlife species, and inflict serious damage on agricultural crops and ornamental plantings. Their over-abundance can also facilitate the outbreak of diseases and parasites that can threaten the health of both livestock and humans. Therefore, while it is recognized that white-tailed deer are but one element in the complex and diverse ecosystems they inhabit it must also be recognized that deer harvest management will likely continue to be a necessary and desirable practice. Meeting the future needs of all deer-related re-creationists while protecting and preserving our native ecosystems is a challenge faced by all who are charged with the stewardship of our wildlife heritage.
