Here at Alcorn Hunter Haven and Kennel, Inc. we offer guided hunts for mule deer and Whitetail deer on private land in the Plains area of Nebraska. We are located near Hay Springs, Nebraska. Our ranch is about 35 miles from the town of Chadron and 35 miles from Alliance. You can fly into either place from Denver or fly into Denver and drive over. We are about four and one half hours drive from Denver, Colorado. Deer hunting here with us is both exciting and relaxing. Peace and quiet are part of the scenic picture with only the sounds of the wildlife to keep you company. The excitement comes in the challenge of finding your mark.Very few deer hunters leave without a deer or two.
Deer hunting packages at Ash Creek Ranch include accommodations in our fully equipped bunkhouse. Hunts are semi-guided: we familiarize you with the ranch, point out adjacent public and private lands and then let you hunt o n your own. We also provide assistance in the retrieving game. Because of the rough terrain and inaccessibility, we do not allow hunters to use ATVs on the ranch. However, we are happy to assist hunters in getting to and from their hunting sites. In order to manage game to best advantage, we limit bookings to a total of six to eight hunters--this includes archery, muzzleloader, and firearm. Nebraska permits allow you to hunt either mulies or whitetails on the same permit, and both can be hunted at Ash Creek Ranch.
We are a Controlled Shooting Area. Which allows pheasant hunting from September 1st thru March 31st. Breakfast and lunch provided on multi day pheasant hunts. Noon meal at lodge is provided during a single day hunt. Gas, food, and lodging 10 minutes from CSA. Deer Hunts Available
We have over twenty miles of Long Branch Creek, Rock Branch Creek, and Sapa Creek. These areas provide some of the best habitat for Trophy Class Whitetail and Mule Deer available anywhere in North America. All of our trophy deer hunts are free range fair chase! Long Branch Creek Lodge is just five miles from the Kansas/Nebraska state line, allowing easy access and short drives to and from all of our blinds and ladder stands. We offer semi-guided archery, muzzle loader, and rifle hunts in both Kansas and Nebraska. We limit the number of hunters and carefully manage over twenty miles of some of the most pristine habitat you will find anywhere.
We run hunts 12 months out the year and operate in Northeast Colorado and Nebraska. We guide for dove, teal, upland, waterfowl, mule deer and whitetail, turkey, snow goose, coyotes and prairie dogs and antelope. The 3000 square foot lodge sits on 320 acres.
Whitetail deer hunting in Nebraska can be done by either utilizing one of our tree stands, or by stalking. The bigger bucks are smart and can be very elusive, so a good game plan is essential. We have observed their habits for many years, so we will provide you with resources and guidance you will need to bag a big whitetail buck on the ranch
Deer Hunting: Hunt Whitetail and Mule deer on 4,000 acres of private land in the scenic North Loup River valley. Our hunts include transportation to the hunting areas, stands, transportation to the locker, and home cooked meals at our Deadwood Trail Hunting Hideout. Not included: game preparation and processing fees.
Deer hunts are also available. We offer Bow, Muzzlerloader and Rifle deer hunts. These hunts occur during the regular deer hunting seasons established by the Nebraska game and Parks Commission. We offer hunting on over 7000 acres of family owned land. A lodge is available located in the heart of some of our finest hunting. The lodge includes beds, bathroom with a shower and kitchen. Mule deer and Whitetail deer are both available on our property.

Sportsmen can enjoy some of the finest deer hunting in the Sand hills at the Double R Guest Ranch. The ranch is located in a vast and sparsely populated part of the Sand hills, teeming with wildlife, and a big variety of species. The Whitetail Deer and Mule Deer abound. Many trophy deer are taken each deer hunting season according to Kit Hams, the Program Manager of the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission’s Big Game Program. He says that, “The Sand hills Management Unit has the highest percentage of mature, trophy whitetail deer – and it should, it has been managed as a TROPHY UNIT since 1991.”

Our hunts are very high success 80-100% from year to year. That's not opportunity, but dead on the ground, tag filled on a good buck success. Bucks will average between 130 and 150 depending on the year and our top end is 190. That's what makes this such a great hunt.
We are fortunate in that we have both whitetail and mule deer roaming our land. Whichever you choose, you will enjoy the challenge. We are located in the Frenchman management unit and we are also in the season choice area 8. Our valleys and draws surrounded by our farmland and rangeland enhance the opportunity for a satisfactory hunt.
HPO has 10 pre-set stands and up to 5/10 ground blinds for your use during your unguided deer hunts. 5 cameras also stay on the property year round in front of corn and mineral feeding and nourishing them and can be checked by you and your group throughout your deer or turkey hunt to better pinpoint your game. Ladder stands, lock-ons, and ground blinds are all used at your comfort. If one isn’t partial to sitting in an open elevated stand, we can always keep them at ground level and comfortable as can be. On the unguided whitetail hunts, your method is the method you’ll use, but we recommend these stands as they’ve been consistent producers in years past.
Sportsmen who hunt with Hidden Valley Outfitters experience a deer hunt that no other outfitter in the nation can offer. Because this is a newly-established hunting outfitters business, flexibility and custom Hunts are probable. Rifle whitetail deer season opens in mid November and both statewide buck and multiple antlerless deer permits are available. Hunters Hole is a Nebraska Hunting Outfitters facility situated in the small rural village of Lewiston, Nebraska.
Nebraska is considered one of the great sleeper states in the Midwest for trophy whitetail deer. Even though this is a working ranch, our management decisions are based on what’s best for our whitetail population.This includes food plots, green fields to shoot over, and the livestock being excluded from the majority of our timbered acres. Normally we will allow the harvest of no more than five or six trophy deer a year, giving our hunters an excellent chance at a deer at or over 150 B&C points. Rifle, archery, and muzzleloader hunts are all available with each hunt consisting of 5 days hunting, lodging on the ranch, and all meals. See pricing page for costs. We can customize our hunts to fit about any needs and, if available, all hunts include the harvest of does for the price of the permits.
Even though we have harvested nice deer on the ranch, we are temporarily pausing deer hunts. Deer numbers are limited because of several different drought years and disease episodes. When the whitetails and muley numbers increase to an acceptable level, we will once again offer a limited number of hunts.

Three day rifle hunt, four nights of lodging (double occupancy) with meals and all inclusive drinks, licenses/permits are additional. Our Deer Hunts are semi guided (1 on 3.) We assign huts for your convenience and comfort. There is a $500 trophy fee for a deer over 140 gross score. As you are probably aware, these hunts are "fair chase" so there are no high fences, we scout and place huts where we have the most traffic prior to rifle season. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee success but we do our best to get your tag(s) filled. Archery & Muzzleloader hunts available upon request. All Nebraska laws apply.

Sandhills Outfitters offer a limited number of deer permits here on our Sandhills Ranch in north central Nebraska. Although we have both mule and whitetail deer, we are currently offering hunts for only the whitetails in our effort to expand our mule deer population. Our whitetail deer are growing both in quantity and also size due to our management practices. We hunt here on the ranch, so we are well versed in the deers behavioral patterns.
