Black powder and rifle hunts are governed by state regulations and seasons. These hunts are offered on private land producing average Oklahoma whitetail.

The land ranges from river bottoms to rugged canyons. We have many feeders placed throughout the ranches. You may select to hunt from tree stands, ground blinds, or shooting houses that have been in place for several years. Shooting houses are totally enclosed with heaters, if you wish. I offer archery, muzzleloader, and rifle hunts. Two of the ranches have been in the Oklahoma Deer Management Program since 2001 striving to produce that trophy for your wall.

BWR specializes in quail, and chukar hunts. Guided hunts are released birds and accompanying hunting dogs, Pete, Katie, Bo and Lucky. These are quality trained dogs and they work hard to make your hunt enjoyable, plus they are really fun to watch. If you wish, you may bring your own dogs. We also have great deer hunting.

The Texas whitetail ranch is highly managed for age, nutrition and genetics to produce exceptional trophy whitetail. Hunting seasons yielded gross scores ranging from approximately 125 to over 200, a 100% success hunter opportunity. Hunts are all-inclusive with a guide and are usually completed within 2-3 days.

Chain Ranch Outfitters offers several different whitetail hunts in Northwest Oklahoma. With more than 60,000 acres in which to pursue them, your chances of scoring on a trophy buck at the Chain Ranch are outstanding.

Seasons begin in Texas in October for archery, then rifle season starts and continues through early January. We also offer some of the best deer hunting to be found in Oklahoma starting with archery in early October continuing through December 31st.

You can hunt from our ground blinds, tree stands, or box blinds located in areas of peak deer activity. If you prefer, you can use your personal tree stands and blinds. We are very flexible. I have some fantastic Oklahoma deer hunting leases in and around Green Country. We manage for quality deer hunting and have had antler restrictions in place for a number of years. Deer hunting in Oklahoma with White Horse Creek Guided Hunts will give every hunter an honest chance at trophy class whitetail bucks. Our ranch has consistently produced big whitetail bucks year after year. These hunts take place on over 15,000 acres of private land owned and leased by our family. All hunts are fair chase, with no high game fences.

You will be guided by exceptionally good hunters who have taken a numerous amount of trophy whitetails themselves. You will find after hunting with these guides for one day that they are not only very familiar with this area but know the bucks so well they have some of them named.

Although NW Oklahoma is known for its great Quail Hunting, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better deal than our Whitetail Deer hunting. Oklahoma has a short rifle season (16 days) and a one week muzzleloader season which puts very little pressure on our Deer. We harvest a lot of Bucks in the 130 – 140 class range, but we’ll also shoot some in the 150 – 170 class. These are big Whitetail Deer, weighing in between 175 – 225 lbs. Our hunts are semi-guided, meaning we’ll show you an area and then let you setup and hunt your own spot. Each person will usually have around 200 acres to work with. This is open country and you’ll see Deer out to 800 yards. We also have some Mule Deer, but not in large quantities. You can use your Whitetail tag to harvest a Mule Deer. Tags can be purchased over the counter for $280.00. Come out and hunt the Big Whitetail with Windmill Outfitters.
